Fred gave a lot of history behind the area and the customs and traditions of the Amish.  He picked out shops that he thought we would like ...

We absolutely loved this tour! Pat is wonderful! The tour was so much more than we expected! Pat customized the tour to the places we were interested in seeing. We visited Amish shops for candy, quilts, baskets, toys, and a few more.

Pat knew I liked to read Amish books, but there wasn't a stop on the tour for books yet. Well.. Pat asked around in the community, and one woman's Aunt sold them out of her home.  We drove right over and we were invited in their home to view the books upstairs, and I found two that I liked. Pat was excited to be able to offer the bookstore to the tour. :)

If you want to learn about the Amish culture this is the tour to be on. It's the first one that I've been on that you interact one on one with the Amish people.  This was an unforgettable experience, and we will be back! You can't get any closer than this to the Amish!  Thank you!

Liked the variety of places that we visited. We all had a good time.

The baked goods at the Church were excellent and reasonable.

We liked having a tour guide with us to explain and give details.  Visiting with Amish craftsman, getting to hear their processes and procedures.

This tour was just an incredible learning experience. it was the highlight of our 30th wedding anniversary trip. I would not change a thing.
