Hello World!

Welcome to the Amish Trail Blog where we will be posting stories, recipes and anything we find along New York's Amish Trail.

There are so many interesting Amish Shops and English stores along New York's Amish Trail selling hand-made goods to spicy foods.

Unforgettable Amish Tour Experience with Pat Bromley in August 2011

Testimonial

We absolutely loved this tour! Pat is wonderful! The tour was so much more than we expected! Pat customized the tour to the places we were interested in seeing. We visited Amish shops for candy, quilts, baskets, toys, and a few more.

Pat knew I liked to read Amish books, but there wasn't a stop on the tour for books yet. Well.. Pat asked around in the community, and one woman's Aunt sold them out of her home.  We drove right over and we were invited in their home to view the books upstairs, and I found two that I liked. Pat was excited to be able to offer the bookstore to the tour. :)

If you want to learn about the Amish culture this is the tour to be on. It's the first one that I've been on that you interact one on one with the Amish people.  This was an unforgettable experience, and we will be back! You can't get any closer than this to the Amish!  Thank you!

Respect with Dick Hall on June 2012

Testimonial

This tour was just an incredible learning experience. it was the highlight of our 30th wedding anniversary trip. I would not change a thing.

We liked the pleasant, unhurried atmosphere. real people talking about real things. superior understanding of and respect for the Amish were displayed by Dick, who had a superior ability to convey this to us. we learned a lot and are grateful!
