Experience a special day of Amish life in the country, with this auction full of Amish made furniture, tables, chairs, rockers, clocks, quilts, rugs, wall hangings, many handmade items, animals, outdoor items, farm equipment, gift certificates and much more! This auction's proceeds will go towards children and other needy families, doctors and hospital bills owed by the Conewango Valley, New York community.

May 4th opens the Leon Historical Society's museum with a presentation and display on the Holland Land Company. The museum and display will be open every Saturday from May through October from 11am until 2pm.

A one-act opera, "Duke Bluebeard's Castle" presented by Bela Bartok at Gowanda's Historic Hollywood Theater  on November 8th at 7pm and November 10th at 2pm.

Gowanda's Historic Hollywood Theater proudly presents the American Legion "Band of the Tonawandas." This multi-award winning band has played at Art Park, The Chautauqua Institute and Carnegie Hall. Now, they are coming to Gowanda, NY! 

Show your patriotic pride and stand up and cheer for a great American band playing great American music!

Gowanda's Historic Hollywood Theater proudly presents Queen City. Paying tribute to British Rock & Roll Hall of Famers- Queen. The Gowanda High School Chamber Choir will be joining Queen City on stage.

Gowanda is in the path of totality of the Great American Eclipse on April 8th, 2024! Join the watch party in Gowanda, NY with the Historic Hollywood Theater as the home base for the event. Put on your free glasses and enjoy the show!! Admission is free. Restrooms and concessions will be available

Enjoy a 5 hour event, 2 1/2 hour round trip excursion train ride on the NY LE Railroad from Gowanda to South Dayton at the Depot Movie & Rail Museum!

Check in starts at 4:30 at The Gowanda Moose located at 201 Aldrich St. Gowanda, NY 14070. From there you will start with a delicious dinner catered by The Gowanda Moose. Buffet style meal. After dinner you will head over to the train station for a 2 hour round trip train ride.
