Leon Church and Museum season opening!

May 3rd opens the Leon Historical Society's museum with a presentation and display on the Pennyroyal Racetrack! The museum and display will be open every Saturday from May through October from 11am until 2pm.

For opening day, the Church will be open from 10am until 4pm and the Museum will be open from 11am - 3pm. There will be a special lecture: Harness Racing "Sport of Farmers" to be presented at 2pm.

Spring Along the Amish Trail

Hop in the car and head to the back roads for "Spring Along the Amish Trail" on May, 17th from 10am - 4pm. There are nearly 200 Amish Shops along the Amish Trail offering their wares and handiworks, offering a one of a kind shopping experience. 

Participating English businesses include:

Valley View Cheese Co will be open with their new fall merchandise, freshly made pizza, and Amish baked goods in addition to other Amish-made wares.

Randolph’s Country Christmas is an annual event. Starting off the day is Randolph Holiday Arts & Crafts Show and the Christmas Magic Show!

Murder Mystery Mayhem

Enjoy a 5 hour event, 2 1/2 hour round trip excursion train ride from Gowanda to South Dayton!

Check in starts at 4:30 at The Gowanda Moose located at 201 Aldrich St. Gowanda, NY 14070. From there you will start with a delicious dinner catered by The Gowanda Moose. Buffet style meal. After dinner you will head over to the train station for a 2 hour round trip train ride.
