Recipe for Amish Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1- 1 pound 4ounce can pineapple
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup nuts

Directions

Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and can of pineapple (not drained). Add eggs, vanilla and nuts. Pour into baking pan and bake.

Cooking Time: 25-30 minutes Temp: 350° F Pan Size: 13x9x2

Cream Cheese Icing. Mix 8 ounces cream cheese, 1/4 pound butter or margarine, 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over cooled cake.
