What is Rock 'n Remember?  Grief is a process that is never truly finished. Whether it’s been one month, one year or decades since our loved one(s) left us, we still deal with living without being able to see or touch them - and the pain can be as fresh as if it happened yesterday.

People handle their grief differently and there is no “right” way. The only “right” way is what works for the individual. There are, however, some commonalities when dealing with grief.

We need to be free to talk about our loved one(s) without anyone feeling uncomfortable. Our loved one(s) are still very much a big part of our lives. We also want our loved one(s) to be remembered. It helps so much for people to talk to us about them; tell us stories; keep their memory alive. It’s okay if we cry – in a way they are happy tears as memories is all we have left and we treasure every single one.

This is what Rock ‘n Remember is all about. It’s an event that will bring people together who have lost loved ones and provide an opportunity for their loved one(s) to be remembered while having a good time at a community event that supports a great cause- Gowanda's Historic Hollywood Theater and Gowanda Ambulance Building Fund.
