You're cordially invited to Leon's Old Fashioned Town Picnic to be held at the Leon Fire Hall on Saturday August 19th 2017, starting at Noon.  Bring a dish to pass, your lawn chair and get ready for fun at this small town country picnic in Leon in the Amish Country of Cattaraugus County.  It's the 75th Anniversary of the Leon Fire Company #1!  

There will be a new playground dedication to Laurence (Butch) Ellis, as well as Pennyroyal Race Track (shown in photo) mural on the front of the firehall.  T-shirts and the Pennyroyal Race Tract books will be on sale. 

For entertainment, there's tree carving by Sherwood Arts Complex, old fashioned games, chainsaw demonstration and a basket auction.  Sign up for the Horseshoe Tournament by calling Kole Bromley at 716-220-3273. 

A fire training exercise, put on by the Leon Firefighters, will take place at 3pm and live music runs from 6-9pm.
