The Leon Historical Society presents the 21st annual Christmas Program at the Historical Church at the four corners in Leon.  See the members of the Historical Society dressed in Victorian attire and you are encouraged to wear your Victorian dress as well! Refreshments will be provided for after the show!  Program starts at 2pm.  There will be a holiday pie sale and refreshments will be served after the show!

You're cordially invited to Leon's Old Fashioned Town Picnic to be held at the Leon Fire Hall on Saturday August 19th 2017, starting at Noon.  Bring a dish to pass, your lawn chair and get ready for fun at this small town country picnic in Leon in the Amish Country of Cattaraugus County.  It's the 75th Anniversary of the Leon Fire Company #1!

Feel like winter will never end?  Try a NEW learning Experience!  Learn how to make baskets, sew, knit, and quilt at one of the Leon Historical Society's Amish-English Events.  Both English and Amish teachers share their world and skills with you at these events.  Please come for the day and enjoy seeing and learning how things are done in the Amish and the Modern world.  Get involved and make a basket, or sew a tote bag, or knit a neck scarf, or quilt a pot holder.  Enjoy seeing how different and yet how similar our ways are.
