Salamanca Historical Society Announces New Winter Hours

The Salamanca Historical Museum will be open:

Now through October 31- Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday  10- 4

November 1-December 17th- Thursday and Saturday  10-4

December 20 – April 3, 2012- Saturday only 10-4

The renovations to the 3rd floor of the museum have been completed and many new displays are on view. Admission is free. Many unique items are on sale in the gift shop.

Group tours available at any time by prior arrangement

Fully Handicapped Accessible

The museum is located in a beautifully restored 1882 bank building. The main floor features 2 bank vaults and displays of local history, memorabilia, and books filled with photos and information for visitors to enjoy. The second floor features a Victorian Room, Military Display, School Room and Chapel. Browse at your own pace or enjoy a guided tour.
