What's new along the Amish Trail

Hellllloooooo!

So what's new along the Amish Trail?  Even more English businesses and Amish businesses can be seen, none of whom distract from the Countryside beauty.  If you haven't been out to our area of the world in a while, consider another trip!  There is plenty to see and most likely you won't be able to see it all in one day!  Here are some of the new "English" businesses along the way to make your trip easier and more fun!

In the Randolph area, the Southern gateway to Amish Country:
*Yarn for Ewe, a full service yarn shop.  Find all the yarn you could want to make your entire wardrobe or the needles, notions, and novelties you need.  There are also many educational books, knitting classes, and open crochets!  If you too are a knitaholic, then give them a like on Facebook!

*Bob's Bar & Grill, a peaceful restaurant and bar on the outskirts of Randolph.  Offering full menu of appetizers, lunch and dinner specials, stop by on your bike or snowmobile!  Outdoor seating is available.

*BB's Family Restaurant is in the mix of the cute shops on Randolph's Main St.  Many menu items are made from scratch!  Don't expect to see any from the frozen section chicken fingers here.  Instead strips of chicken breast are used for their chicken fingers and they are amazing!  And that's just the start!

In the Salamanca area, just a 20 minute drive from the Southern gateway to Amish Country:
*Hampshire Mills
.  This quaint store has Native American items for sale as well as souvenir apparel and collectibles from Salamanca and Allegany State Park.  Be sure to stop here for great deals on the best brands in apparel and footwear, including Columbia, Woolrich, Merrell and White Sierra.
*Udderly Topnotch Nigerian Goat Farm
is oh so sweet!  This is a small goat farm with quality Nigerian Dwarf Goats!  Visit these friendly and adorable animals, or purchase one to start your own farm.  The owners will show you how to care for them, milk them and show what they do with the milk!  They make cheese, butter, ice cream, fudge, lotions and soaps!  Visit them on Facebook for product deals.
*Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino
is a great place to spend the night to extend your vacation to a multi-day trip to Amish Country or to seek out the other great attractions in the Enchanted Mountains.  After the Amish shops close at dusk, you can still have fun hitting the slots or tables or taking in one of their amazing events.

In the New Albion to Dayton area, towards the Northern gateway to Amish County:
*Cozy Cabin Alpaca Farm is one of the largest Alpaca stores in WNY!  Fairly new business still, they are striving and succeeding in being a warm, welcoming place that sells beautiful garments, raises amazing alpacas and a variety of items.  They have Alpaca clothing, sportswear, seasonal gifts and knives.

*PersiaCatt Alpacas is a small alpaca farm started with the help of other local alpaca farms.  They offer tours and education about these gentle creatures.  They also have raw or milled alpaca fabric and fiber products available for purchase.

And right in the heart of Amish Country:
*Baer Essentail Shoppe offers classes on how to make herbal remedites and products.  They started a simple homestead life for themselves off the grid and are happy to share their experiences and knowledge gained with others!  Find products for healthy living including candles, teas, and oils.

A little further out but worth the drive is Ellicottville Country Store & Antiques, a historic Country Store that features gifts, bulk foods, soaps, candles, and even old fashioned penny candy!  There is an upstairs Antique Gallery and adjoining diner.
