Christmas Time along New York's Amish Trail
December 2 & 3 events:
Randolph (716-358-9701) hosts Country Christmas Extravaganza celebrations Dec. 2nd and 3rd with Christmas Tree Lighting, parade, dances, sleigh rides, the Festival of Trees and Photos with Santa. Plenty of deals will be available at downtown businesses and you can also enjoy Christmas caroling, hot cocoa and more.
Gowanda (716-532-2834) a tree lighting and Santa will visit the Historic Hollywood Theater.
South Dayton – Fire Auxiliary’s Craft Show and Bizarre - Chicken & Biscuit Dinner
Saturday, December 3rd
Leon - Local Amish Vendors, local artists and local crafters will be selling baked goods, handcrafted baskets and more! All this and Refreshments will be at the Historic Leon Church in Leon, NY from 10AM-4PM.
Sunday December 11 events:
Leon (716-296-5709) – Old Fashioned Christmas at the Church - 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Come dressed in your holiday best for our Annual Christmas program at Our Historic Church. It’s a great time to get in the spirit of Christmas and have the fellowship with friends and families.
There will be holiday music by the Ball Hill Choir, Honoring Betty and Carmen Lyons and the Church will be celebrating 175 years this year we will be having cake along with cookies and coffee after the service.
December events:
Silver Bells Festival (716-945-2034) - Salamanca will be celebrating the entire month of December. The festival involves many local organizations and businesses during this month long tribute to Ray Evans, Salamanca born and raised and author of the Christmas song "Silver Bells.” Highlights include family activities, art and craft show, concerts, twinkling lights and holiday fun!
